PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — Pass Christian High School announces that several outstanding FCCLA members have advanced through the FCCLA Online STAR Events and officially qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference (NLC) this July in Washington, D.C.
Students across the country participate in STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events to demonstrate leadership, career preparation, and real-world skills through competitive projects. Advancing to the national level is a significant accomplishment that reflects months of dedication, creativity, and hard work.
Representing Pass High on the national stage will be:
- Jaylin Bryan – Red Talk on Education, Level 3
- Avalyn Bryan and Faith Kennedy – Instructional Video Design, Level 2
- Keily Hernandez and Allie Manning – Instructional Video Design, Level 3
Each project required students to research, plan, design, and present professional-quality work that addresses real-world issues and showcases their communication and leadership abilities. From developing educational presentations to producing instructional media, these students demonstrated both technical skill and confidence under competition standards.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that these students are the only FCCLA members from Mississippi to qualify for national competition this year, making their accomplishment truly exceptional. They will not only represent Pass Christian High School, but the entire state of Mississippi.
Their success highlights the strength of Pass High’s FCCLA program and the commitment of its members to excellence, service, and leadership. As they prepare to travel to Washington, D.C., the school community looks forward to cheering them on as they compete among the best FCCLA students in the nation.
