PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — Pass Christian High School is proud to announce the kickoff of its newly established Hope Week, a week dedicated to spreading kindness, connection, and encouragement throughout our Pirate community.
The celebration begins on Monday, February 9th at 5:00 p.m. at Henderson Point Beach with a special event titled Lanterns of Hope. Students, families, and community members are warmly invited to gather alongside the PCHS Hope Squad for an evening of reflection and unity.
As the sun sets, participants will release a constellation of lanterns, each carrying personal messages of hope. The glowing display over the shoreline will serve as a symbolic reminder that even small lights can brighten the darkness and that, together, our community can lift one another up.
Lanterns of Hope marks the beginning of Hope Week, which will feature a variety of activities and events designed to promote kindness, strengthen connections, and raise awareness about the importance of mental health, support systems, and suicide prevention. Throughout the week, students will engage in opportunities to encourage one another, celebrate positivity, and build a culture where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.
The PCHS Hope Squad believes hope grows strongest when it is shared. By inviting the entire community to participate, the group hopes to send a clear message: no one stands alone, and together we can create a brighter future for all.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and take part in this meaningful evening.
