PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — The Pass High Pirates football team continued their historic 2025 run on Friday with a statement 49-22 win over Morton High in the second round of the MHSAA 4A playoffs Friday, November 14 at the Francis McDonald Stadium in Pass Christian, Mississippi. The win gave the Pirates their first 11-win season, which broke the season-high 10 wins from 50 years ago in 1975. The result was nothing new for Pass Christian High School, who have now won nine matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
The Piratres once again jumped out to a fast and furious start, finding the endzone with less than a minute off the clock in the first quarter when Doug White rushed for a 12-yard touchdown. And they never let their foot off the gas, putting up 42 points before halftime.
“Once again, this was a total team effort,” Pass High Coach Jeff Stockstill said. The offense came out swinging. The defense got us some key stops, forced two turnovers, and blocked a punt. I feel much better about our team when the defense plays well.”
With a 42-14 lead at the half, Stockstill said he didn’t have to make a lot of adjustments in the locker room, nor did he have to find a way to keep his team motivated.

“There really wasn’t a lot of motivation coming from the coaches,” he said. “The players hold each other accountable.”
Quarterback Paris Trivillion was 11-14 for 258 yards passing with two passing touchdowns. The signal caller rushed for 54 yards and one TD on only five carries while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also. What’s more, he racked up 159.2 passer rating, the most he’s had since back in October of 2024. White led the team in rushing with 18 yards on three carries and a touchdown. Cecil Lizana had four carries for 15 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
The dynamic receiving duo of Larkin Lewis and Dwight Thomas led the Pirates in receiving yards. Thomas had four catches for 113 yards and one touchdown, and Lewis had three catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pass Christian’s defense and their four sacks. Lizana refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Thomas got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown while Kaiden Mooney had five tackles, three of which were solo tackles.
Those home victories at the McDonald Stadium came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.4 points over those games. After 12 games, Pass Christian High School has set another record by scoring 498 points for the 2025 season so far.

The Pirates will travel to Columbia High School Friday, November 21 at 7pm. The undefeated Wildcats (12-0) beat Newton County 27-22 to advance to the MHSAA State 4A Quarterfinals. Once again, Pass Christian High School will meet one of the best teams in the state for a playoff round three matchup. Stockstill said his message to the Pirates this week will be a simple one.
“Survive and advance,” he said. “We just need one more point to win.”
