HARRISON COUNTY — On Wednesday , September 4, 2024, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested of a 16-year-old juvenile suspect on two felony counts of Making Terroristic Threats.
According to Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley, on August 30 and September 4, 2024, Harrison Central High School received calls of someone threatening to “shoot up” the school.
Harrison County Investigators were able to locate and arrest a 16-year-old Juvenile responsible for the threats at his residence following the Wednesday incident. The juvenile was transported to Harrison County Juvenile Detention Center in Gulfport, Mississippi.
The juvenile was booked into the Harrison County Juvenile Detention Center, and is being held with no bond pending juvenile detention hearing.
