BAY ST. LOUIS (GG) — Saint Stanislaus College held its Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, celebrating the conclusion of its 172nd year of Catholic education. Most Reverend Louis F. Kihneman III, Bishop of the Diocese of Biloxi, served as officiating celebrant.

Fifty-one young men received diplomas, with ten earning Honors Diplomas, and the class secured approximately $3.7 million in college scholarships. Farres Baroudi was named Valedictorian and Charlie Hoffmann Salutatorian. Gabe Franco received the President’s Award, the school’s highest honor. Additional awards went to Christian Haas (American Legion Award), Max Baria (Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Award), Daniel Zhang (Scholar-Athlete Award), Will Sones (Jeanne Simon Award), and Matthew Fasullo (Alumni Association Award). The Brother Joseph Donovan Character Cups were presented to Vince Vorrath and Tendai Mungai, and the Conduct Award for a Resident Student went to Landon Greene.
