BILOXI (GG) — Tig Notaro is a busy person. She’s a wife, a mom, a producer, a documentary film producer, a podcast host, and an actor. She’s also a beloved standup comedian who will be returning to the Mississippi Gulf Coast on Saturday.

Notaro will perform at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi at 778 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27. Tickets start at $50 and are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Before she brings her unique and truth-filled brand of comedy to the Beau, she will be finishing a vacation with her family in the UK.

“I’m in London with family,” Notaro said in a phone interview. “My wife is filming a movie here.”

Notaro said she will be flying to Los Angeles and then catching a plane for New Orleans to make her show in Biloxi. The show is a “one-off,” as she doesn’t plan on fully returning to the road until 2026.

“I always want to come back to the Gulf Coast,” she said. “I have family and friends there, and I just love being there. Although I’m not doing a proper tour, I still perform some shows when they fit my schedule. I’m not fully doing a tour until next year.”

When she’s not filming episodes of “Star Trek: Discovery” and a spinoff show set to premiere in 2026, she hits the film festival circuit to promote her new documentary, “Come See Me in The Good Light.” The film, which Notaro produced, tells the story of a woman’s battle with terminal cancer.

“Andrea Gibson was a poet who lived in Colorado,” she said. “I met her in Colorado 25 years ago. She was truly like watching a rock star on stage. We stayed in touch. Andrea was diagnosed with an aggressive ovarian cancer. And very sadly, she died a couple of months ago. The film is a tribute to her life. It won the Sundance Film Festival this year.”
