PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — Ten years ago, the Pass Christian Theatre Project (now known as Theatre in the Pass) was introduced to the community with a thoughtful drama, New York by David Rimmer, in association with Concord Theatricals. The play was originally written to raise funds for volunteer psychiatrists helping those psychologically affected by the events of 9/11.
The drama features 15 characters who each share their reactions to that tragic day, all speaking to a central psychiatrist. Now as Theatre in the Pass celebrates its 10th anniversary, the play will be performed again on the same stage where it all started, in the Randolph Community Center (315 Clark Avenue).
Performance dates and times are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, September 5-7 at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, September 8 at 2:30 pm. Doors will open 30 minutes in advance.
Ticket prices for each performance are $30/person General Admission $18/person for Senior Citizens, Military, Students, and First Responders). Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at www.theatreinthepass.betterworld.org prior to the performance.
Doors will open 30 minutes before each performance.
Theatre in the Pass (formerly the Pass Christian Theatre Project) was formed in 2014 when the City of Pass Christian offered a group of local volunteers the auditorium of the Randolph Community Center as a home for a new community theatre. Theatre in the Pass is a project of Pass Christian Main Street Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit.
