WEST HARRISON COUNTY (GG) — On Monday, August 5, 2024, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to Orange Grove Road in reference to a pedestrian accident causing death.
On August 5, 2024 at approximately 02:57 a.m., county deputies responded to a call of a male body in the middle of Orange Grove Road. Deputies arrived on scene and found a male deceased in the roadway that appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.
There were no vehicles on scene at the time of the call, and the reporting party did not see any vehicles in the area when they located the victim.
Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley along with Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle used in this crime. It is believed the incident occurred between 02:00 a.m. and 03:00 a.m. on Orange Grove Road in the area of Azalea Trace.
