LEGAL NOTICE — ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Long Beach, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids for “READY MIX CONCRETE”, as ordered by the City of Long Beach from time to time for a period beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2027.
Bid sheets, which include specifications and terms of purchase, are available at the administrative offices, H2O Innovation, 404 Kohler Avenue, Long Beach, Mississippi, 39560, (228) 863-0440.
Bids will be received at Long Beach City Hall by the City Clerk, 2nd Floor, Suite 202, 201 Jeff Davis Avenue, P.O. Box 929, Long Beach, Mississippi, 39560, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. All bids must be properly filed with the City Clerk no later than Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Long Beach City Hall, at which time all bids properly filed will be publicly opened for review and tabulation, with a recommendation to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen for award at their regular meeting of Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Sealed bids must be submitted on the required bid form and must be clearly marked “BID FOR READY MIX CONCRETE” on the outside of the envelope.
Bids may be held by the City of Long Beach for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding of the Contract.
The City of Long Beach reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
