LONG BEACH (GG) — On Saturday, June 27th, Long Beach celebrated its annual 4th of July Jubilee. This year marks four years of Long Beach celebrating the 4th of July with a jubilee.

Residents and guests alike came together as one to celebrate this holiday in such a patriotic way. From morning to night, Downtown Long Beach held a festival, parade, block party, and a fireworks show in honor of the 4th.  Throughout the day, vendors were available for shopping, and people brought lawn chairs, ready to watch the parade, which featured Jeeps, Broncos, and golf carts decorated in red, white, and blue.

As night fell, the city came alive for a block party with live music from The Livestock, people singing and dancing together, along with various food stops, vendors, and local businesses.  To end the night, a fireworks display lit up the night sky, drawing everyone to enjoy the show.

The annual celebration brings people of all ages together, creating lasting memories and honoring our nation’s Independence. American flags were waved, families lined the streets, and visitors from neighboring communities joined the festivities.

Long Beach does an amazing job of highlighting its welcoming spirit and showcasing the importance of community; it’s a place of tradition that unites residents and keeps people coming back year after year.   As the final fireworks faded, attendees left with smiles and anticipation for next year’s celebration.
