LONG BEACH (GG) — Long Beach is advising residents and motorists that the intersection of Alexander Road and Railroad Street is closed to through traffic while contractors complete improvements to the pump station located at the intersection.
The closure is expected to remain in place through next Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and allow additional travel time while work is underway.
The pump station improvements are part of the city’s ongoing investment in critical infrastructure to enhance the reliability and performance of Long Beach’s wastewater system. According to city officials, Long Beach appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this important project is completed.
