BILOXI (GG) — Keesler Federal Credit Union announced Monday, July 6, the launch of the second installment of its $1 Million Live Your Way Debt Eraser, an unprecedented member giveback program designed to help ease financial burden for winning members. This time, the campaign will focus on helping members reduce their auto loan debt.

Keesler Federal members with existing auto loans in good standing will be eligible to win the cash-equivalent of 6-months of car notes, up to a total of $3,000.

To be eligible, members must opt in to register for the contest at KFCU.org/million where they can also review the complete rules. Registration will be open throughout July, and winners will be randomly selected in the first week of August until the total amount of money awarded reaches $1 million. On August 7, Keesler Federal will inform more than 330 lucky members that they won.

This second installment follows the highly successful inaugural $1 Million Live Your Way Debt Eraser in March in which winning members received up to $4,000 each to reduce or erase their credit card debt.

After the contest, Keesler Federal surveyed its members and asked where they wanted the credit union to focus on its second million-dollar giveback. Most respondents replied that reducing their auto loans would be most helpful. And that makes sense, said Keesler Federal Board Chairman James Hollingsworth.

“For most folks, car notes are their second biggest household expense after paying rent or making mortgage payments,” Hollingsworth said. “We listened to our members and answered them with this second million dollar giveback aimed at reducing auto loan debt.”

This marks the second in a series of major member‑focused givebacks planned for 2026.

“At Keesler Federal, our mission is to make meaningful, positive impacts in our members’ lives,” said Hollingsworth.  “The Debt Eraser campaign is one more way we’re giving back to our members and helping them move toward greater financial freedom, so that they can live their way.”
