MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST (GG) — The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, through its Beach Monitoring Program, has issued beach water contact advisories for the following beaches: Lakeshore Beach, Bay St. Louis Beach, Long Beach, Biloxi East Central Beach.
- Lakeshore Beach — the affected area is from Silver Slipper Casino to Poinset (Station 1)
- Bay St. Louis Beach — the affected area is from Box Culvert to Ballantine St. (Station 4)
- Long Beach Beach — the affected area is from Oak Gardens east to Girard (Station 7A)
- Biloxi East Central Beach — the affected area is from St. Peter St. east to Dukate Street. (Station 12B)
MDEQ will continue issuing beach advisory text alerts and press releases through Labor Day, September 7, 2026. Beginning September 8, 2026, routine advisories outside the peak beach season will be communicated through posted beach signage and the beach monitoring website. Advisory information is posted first on beaches.mdeq.ms.gov, making it the fastest place to find updated beach conditions.
