PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — The Pass Christian Pirates hosted the Super-Region 4-4A track and field championships on Saturday. The Pirates swept the boys and girls division titles in the meet. The top four finishers advance to the Class 4A South State track and field championships that are being hosted by Columbia High School.
The Pirates scored 230 points to run away with the boys division title. The Pirates were led by Rylan Shoulders who won the 100m in 11.35 and placed second in the 200m in 23.13. Larkin Lewis won the 400m with a time of 50.29 and was second in the 800m with a time of 2:09.19.
Nathaniel Robertson won the 800m in 2:08.52 while Michael Bendich placed third in the 1600m with a time of 5:10.92 and was second in the 3200m with a time of 11:47.27.
Jacob Fuller won the 3200m with a time of 11:46.60. Hardy Belt was third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.30 and third in the high jump with a height of 6’4.” Landon Hall was second in the high jump at 6′ 4″ and third in the 300m hurdles with a time of 42.60.
Grant Akers won the pole vault with a vault of 12′ 6″ and Rylan Dedeaux was second at 10.’ Paris Trivillion won the long jump with a leap of 21′ 5.5″ and was second in the triple jump with a mark of 43′ 1.”
Sheldon Stapleton won the triple jump with a leap of 44′ 11″ and was fourth in the long jump with a distance of 20′ 7″.
Ellic Laneaux won the high jump with a leap of 6’6.”
Samuel King won the shot put with a throw of 53′ 1″ and the discus with a throw of 151′ 4.” Cenica Barnes was third in the shot put at 39′ 9″ and Stefen King was fourth at 39′ 3.” Kenneth Delcour was second in the discus with a throw of 134′ 3.”
The 4x100m relay team of Trieu Tran, Neil Lydie, Nikolas Piernas, and Trivillion was third with a time of 44.34 while the 4x200m relay team of Dat Le, Lydie, Piernas, and Trivillion were fourth in 1:34.71.
The 4x400m relay team of Robertson, Le, Terrell Bailey, and Larkin Lewis were second with a time of 3:37.82 and the 4x800m relay team of Bentley Obertien, Karson Hamilton, Jon Fortenberry, and Justin Usher were second in 8:55.81.
The Lady Pirates scored 156 points to win the girls division. The Lady Pirates were led by Harmony Walker who won the 100m in 12.72 followed by Megan Dedeaux in second at 12.88 and Madison Jacobs in fourth with a time of 12.98

Hailey Lebeau was second in the 200m with a time of 26.09 and won the 400m in 1:01.26. Kymiaya Bass was second in the 400m with a time of 1:02.96.
Harmony Walker also won the 200m in 25.94 and Jacobs was fourth in 26.7.
Khloee Vinsonhaler was fourth in the 100m hurdles in 18.03 and was second in the 300m hurdles in 50.84.
Vinsonhaler was third in the high jump at 5′ while Zaria Acker was second in the long jump at 15′ 3.”
Jacobs finished third in the triple jump at 33′ 7.5.”
T’Shailah Thomas won the shot put with a throw of 31′ 6″ and was second in the discus at 93′ 6.”
The 4x100m relay team of Saniyah Curry, Acker, Dedeaux, and Walker won the event in 49.68. The 4x200m relay team of Dedeaux, Acker, Walker, and Lebeau were first in 1:43.93. The 4x400m relay team of Curry, Lebeau, Vinsonhaler, and Malaysia Fields was first with a time of 4:15.99.
The 4x800m relay team of Sandra Carter, Kmari Hamilton, Lily Krebs, and Daelyn Wilkinson was fourth in 11:52.29.
