LONG BEACH (GG) — Long Beach announces the return of Long Beach Live, bringing live music, community spirit, and classic cars back to downtown for the 2026 season. Beginning May 1, this beloved concert series will take place on the first Friday of each month at the Harper McCaughan Town Green in downtown Long Beach.
This year’s series also marks the return of the community-favorite Cruise-In, where classic and custom vehicles will line Jeff Davis Avenue, creating a vibrant and nostalgic atmosphere in the heart of downtown. The Cruise-In will begin at 5:00 PM, with vehicles lining the streets, followed by live music performances from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Harper McCaughan Town Green.

- May 1 – D Jr. & Shine Soul
- June 5 – The Project
- July 3 – Kelsey Moran Band
- August 7 – 2 Left of Center
- September 4 – Brandon Blackburn & Bruce Smelley Duo
- October 2 – 2nd Class Citizens
Hosted by Long Beach Live, this First Friday series is designed to bring families, friends, and visitors together to enjoy great music, explore local businesses, and experience the welcoming charm of downtown Long Beach. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening filled with entertainment, dining, and shopping along Jeff Davis Avenue. The city event is free and open to the public.
