PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — DeLisle Elementary School (DES) is proud to announce its upcoming Apple in Action Family Night, taking place on Tuesday, April 28, from 4:00–6:00 PM at the school campus located at 6303 W. Wittmann Road, Pass Christian.
This special event celebrates DeLisle Elementary’s recent recognition as an Apple Distinguished School, a designation that highlights innovation in teaching and learning through the effective use of technology.
Families and community members are invited to experience firsthand how students are using iPads to enhance learning across all grade levels. Throughout the evening, visitors will explore classrooms and interactive stations where students will showcase projects, digital creations, and engaging learning experiences developed throughout the school year.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to see the meaningful ways technology is transforming learning in our classrooms,” said Carisa Fryer, Principal. “Our students are not just using devices—they are creating, collaborating, and growing academically in exciting and innovative ways.”
The evening will also feature a PTO-sponsored “Apple Bar,” offering apple-themed treats for families to enjoy while connecting with teachers and celebrating student accomplishments.
Apple in Action Family Night highlights DeLisle Elementary’s commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence through purposeful technology integration. DES looks forward to welcoming families and community members for an evening that showcases the engaging and inspiring work happening every day.
