PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — During a recent meeting, the Rotary Club of Pass Christian awarded its 2025-2026 grants to three deserving local organizations in support of their efforts on behalf of the young people of Pass Christian. These grants are funded partially from the local club as well as from donations made by individual members to the Rotary Foundation that come back to the Club each year in the form of grants to support the Rotary mission.
This year’s recipients were:
- The LAD project, an after-school program for at risk youth, to purchase learning space furniture for their new facility on North Street.
- The Pass Christian School District to purchase musical instruments for the Elementary School music classes.
- The City of Pass Christian Boys and Girls Clubs for three school-year and summer session scholarships for three individuals.
The Rotary Club of Pass Christian celebrated 100 years of service in May of 2024. Now with over 80 active members, we continue to work to bring positive energy to Pass Christian by working in tandem with other community and municipal organizations to identify areas of need. The Rotary Club meets at noon on Thursdays at the Pass Christian Yacht Club. Individuals interested in learning more about the mission of Rotary and the local club are welcome to attend.
