HARRISON COUNTY (GG) — On Monday, February 9, 2026, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) announced the seizure of 23 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Interstate 10. 

On January 29, 2026, at approximately 10:00am, a deputy from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Criminal Interdiction Division conducted a traffic stop on a car hauler for a traffic violation at the 42-mile marker of Interstate 10 eastbound in Biloxi. During the stop, county deputies inspected a Nissan Pathfinder on the car hauler and located 23 pounds of methamphetamine,  which was hidden within the vehicle. 

Harrison County Narcotics Investigators determined that the driver of the car hauler was not aware of the narcotics and was released pending further investigation.
