LONG BEACH (GG) — An unforgettable night of music, worship, and inspiration is coming to our community as the African Children’s Choir performs Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd. The concert is free and open to the public, and while no tickets are required, donations are appreciated to help continue the Choir’s life-changing mission.

This tour includes 17 children from Uganda, ages 8 to 10, each with a powerful story of resilience and hope. While traveling, local families open their homes to host the children, creating meaningful opportunities to share meals, traditions, faith, and culture. It’s more than a concert — it’s a connection.

For over four decades, the African Children’s Choir has been transforming lives through the power of music, education, and hope. Their heartwarming performance blends traditional hymns with vibrant African cultural songs, all while sharing stories of God’s faithfulness through joyful worship.

The Choir is part of Music for Life, an international Christian organization providing education, discipleship, and leadership development to thousands of children across Africa. These concerts don’t just uplift audiences — they help equip the next generation of leaders.

Community members are invited to come experience a night that promises to leave hearts full and spirits lifted.
