PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — Pass Christian High School’s “Hope Squad” presented an important initiative to the Pass Christian Board of Aldermen & Mayor at the recent meeting Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The high school students successfully formed a partnership with the city to issue a proclamation designating February 8-13 as “Hope Week” in Pass Christian. The motion was made by Alderman-at-Large and Pass High Alum Victor Pickich.
One of the group’s mission is to prevent teen suicide with several activities throughout this week.
After the partnership was adopted by the board, a unanimous approval to the Humane Society of Mississippi in the amount of $3223.80 for contract overage charges and amending the current budget according to the City Clerk.
