PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — The Butterfly Ball: Family Glow Dance Party, hosted by the Diamondhead School of Fine Arts (DSFA) at Pine Hills Nursery in DeLisle (rural Pass Christian), brought an evening of light and laughter on Saturday, November 1st.
Families stepped into a glowstick wonderland filled with color, creativity, and connection. The night featured lively music that brought everyone to the dancefloor, surrounded by neon decorations, and was intertwined with a series of student performances that showcased the talent cultivated at the Diamondhead School of Fine Arts. Tiny dancers, pianists, and singers, the event was full of talent. Every moment radiated fun and imagination, as children were read The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the caterpillar paid a visit himself!
“The Butterfly Ball is a beautiful celebration of growth, creativity, and community,” said Sarah Shelton, Executive Director of the Diamondhead School of Fine Arts. “It’s a reminder that art can transform lives—just as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, our students are blossoming into confident young artists. We’re so grateful to Pine Hills Nursery and our supporters for helping us make this magical evening possible.”
Attendees enjoyed various activities and sweet treats, with a cookie included with every ticket. The event’s atmosphere reflected DSFA’s mission to inspire and nurture young artists and strengthen community bonds.
All proceeds from the ball benefited the Diamondhead School of Fine Arts, helping ensure that future students can continue to spread their wings.
