HARRISON COUNTY (GG) — On Monday, October 6, 2025, Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing 71-year-old male, John David Edwards.
According to Sheriff Haley, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is still attempting to locate Edwards after he walked away from his residence in the area of Thomas Lawton Road on Friday, October 3, 2025. Edwards was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown pants.
Edwards has previously mentioned trying to return to Florida and could have possibly been looking for a ride in the area.
