LONG BEACH (GG) — Ghosts, goblins, gremlins, oh my! Giggles filled the air as thousands gathered for the Long Beach Tricks & Treats Trail at the Long Beach Fitness Trail, turning an ordinary evening into a community celebration full of Halloween magic. Trick or Treater’s strolled through the winding, tree-lined path where candy, costumes, and frights came to life.
Mayor Tim Pierce, along with his family, greeted families at the entrance, spreading Halloween cheer. Ward 6 Alderman Pete McGoey and his wife also joined in on the fun. The evening’s hauntingly good vibes were brought to life by Community Affairs Director Courtney Cuevas-Welch, whose dedication made the event a spooky success.

Resident Sharon Mesick shared how the event lit up her evening: “I was walking the exercise track, and it was so much fun to see the little costumed kiddos coming through the trees. A little bit of Halloween fun for the grown-ups too! Glad LB has this event.”
None of it would have been possible without the creativity and generosity of local businesses, volunteers, and residents who decorated, donated, and delighted everyone along the trail.
The Long Beach Tricks & Treats Trail was not only a Halloween outing, but a celebration of community, where families laughed together, children played, and memories were made under the moonlight.
