HARRISON COUNTY (GG) — On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kurtis Emmert who resides in Harrison County on one felony count of touching of a child for lustful purposes.
According to Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley on Sunday, September 28, 2025 Kurtis Emmert arrived at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center in Gulfport, Mississippi to report that he has impregnated a twelve-year-old juvenile. Harrison County Investigators are actively investigating the incident, and Emmert was charged with Touching of a Child for Lustful Purposes. This is an active investigation that may result in further charges.
Kurtis Emmert was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility and charged with one count of Touching of a Child for Lustful Purposes. Emmert is being held in lieu of a $250,000 dollar bond set by Justice Court Judge Louise Ladner.
