NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
NOTICE is hereby given that the West Harrison Water and Sewer District, Harrison County, Mississippi will host a public hearing to be held at the District office located at 7475 Lobouy Road, Pass Christian, MS on July 15, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The West Harrison Water and Sewer District has prepared a Facilities Plan for the proposed improvements to the District’s water supply system. Improvements include installation of new waterline and connections along Vidalia Road, Edwin Ladner Road and JP Ladner Road. Project construction is anticipated to begin in 2026 and is estimated to cost approximately $6,400,000. The District is applying for a loan from the Drinking Water Self Revolving Loan Fund Program. The purpose of the public hearing is to present the Facilities Plan, receive further suggestions and comments, and answer questions.
The West Harrison Water and Sewer District will begin a public comment period on June 13, 2025. The comment period will allow citizens to review the Facilities Plan and offer additional comments.
