STARTING SALARY: $32,382.00 + Excellent Benefit Package: SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The city is seeking a Building Inspector to inspect construction services and activities of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings; issuance of permits; file and maintain records, enforce environmental regulations; attend meetings; knowledge of the Southern Building Code; VRBO permitting, inspections, regulations; and computer literate.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred experience in inspection of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Possession of a valid Mississippi Driver’s License.
Preferred ICC license for Electrical Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, and Plumbing Inspector.
