ADVERTISEMENT – REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Sealed Statements of Qualifications will be received by the City of D’Iberville at 10383 Automall Parkway, D’Iberville, MS 39540 until 10:00 A.M. on June 10, 2025, for: Engineering Services

The City of D’Iberville seeks to employ an engineering firm to provide engineering services utilizing Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract. The selected Engineer shall complete engineering services in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations and procedures. Engineer shall provide professional engineering services, including serving as the Owner’s professional engineering representative for the Project, and providing professional engineering consultation and advice. Activities will include engineering services for performing preliminary engineering and planning support of the project and future phases, topographical and bathymetric surveying, ground penetrating radar, geotechnical investigation, property acquisition services, engineering design to include: marine, civil, structural and electrical, environmental permitting, architectural design which shall consist of building design, hardscape and landscape components in developing the project design, plans and specifications for the marina expansion project which will consist of a shoreline bulkhead with boardwalk, new marina slips, breakwater, dredging of marina basin, utilities, new roadway with adjustments to existing roadway, parking lot expansion, elevated marina office/event center, waterfront plaza with hardscape and landscape components.

The selected firm shall provide engineering services related to the scope of work described.

Firms/Individuals must submit the name of the primary contact person and the person within the firm (if applicable) who shall be the Owner’s contact and party primarily responsible for rendering services, if selected.

Any contract awarded under this solicitation may be paid for in whole or in part with grant funding from the RESTORE Council and the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality under the Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities, and Revived Economies of the Gulf Coast States Act of 2012 (RESTORE Act).

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to submit a statement of qualifications and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities. When subcontracting, all potential contractors must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. See 2. C. F. R. §200.321.
