GULFPORT (GG) — On Monday, March 31, 2025, a Home Invasion was reported to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office on Cypress Bayou Drive in Gulfport, Mississippi.
According to the Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley, two unknown individuals with a machete confronted the victim in the driveway of his residence. During the confrontation, the victim was struck in the head and arm with the machete causing injury.
The victim stated that the unknown individuals made him go back into the residence and used zip-ties to tie up the victim and his wife. The victim stated that the unknown individuals took an unknown amount of cash and jewelry from inside the residence. When the individuals left the residence, they took the victim’s black 2018 Dodge Charger with black rims.
The victim and the fiancé were able to get loose and drove themselves to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries and is listed in stable condition. The vehicle was recovered in the city of Gulfport Tuesday, April 1, 2025 (unoccupied).
