PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — To kick off Kindness Month, 3rd-5th grade classes have been working on a Kindness Project through their Social Emotional Learning (SEL) activity classes.  Elizabeth Farrell, Pass Christian Elementary School (PCES)ccounselor, taught each class a lesson on the importance of spreading kindness to others.

In this lesson, the book, Scribble Stones by Diane Alber was read and used to express how we all have the power to spread kindness to the world. The students then began to create their kindness rocks.

These will be used to fill a new Kindness Garden project in the school with the goal to make others smile and feel encouraged to always strive to be kind.

This lesson along with the everyday Kindness Challenges encourages all students to take a step further into being kind and allowing their kindness to spread throughout their school community. Kindness Month ensures the belief that all students are accepted, valued, and safe here in the Pass Christian Public School District.

The Pass Christian Elementary School (PCES) is part of the Pass Christian Public School District.
