MISSISSIPPI (GG) — Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves today announced multiple appointments to key positions within state government.

“I’m proud to make these appointments,” said Governor Tate Reeves. “I know these individuals have what it takes to help make our state even better. Thanks to all of the appointees for stepping up to serve in these important roles. I look forward to seeing the good things they will accomplish on behalf of Mississippians.”

John Dane, III of Pass Christian was reappointed to the Mississippi Commission on Environmental Quality, representing the Second Supreme Court District and James Douglas Moody of Gulfport was appointed to the State Port Authority at Gulfport.

Both nominees will be submitted to the Mississippi Senate for confirmation.
