HARRISON COUNTY (GG) — Winter Storm Warning begins at midnight across Harrison County. Cold Weather Advisory tonight and Extreme Cold Watch is anticipated for Tuesday night. With dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills in the forecast Monday through Thursday, plan to bring animals in or prepare a shelter for them to stay warm. Make sure there is a way to get fresh unfrozen water. Check, protect pipes, and replace old and damaged insulation if needed.
The Harrison County School District along with four municipality (Pass Christian, Long Beach, Gulfport, Biloxi) and parochial school districts are closed for Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to these anticipated cold weather conditions, two warming centers will open in Harrison County tonight, and subsequent nights as necessary.

- Gulfport – Salvation Army Center of Hope – Opens at 6:00 pm, 2019 22nd Street, Gulfport
