LONG BEACH (GG) — On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at approximately 10:24pm, the Long Beach Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Via Don Ray Road. Upon arrival officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The 17-year-old was transported to a local hospital and then transferred to a hospital in Mobile, Alabama where he is listed in stable condition. Upon further investigation the Long Beach Police Department arrested Keone Moore, of Long Beach and charged him with one count of Aggravated Assault and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute-Marijuana.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives recovered several firearms from Moore’s home, along with a large amount of marijuana.
Moore was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center in Gulfport, Miss and incarcerated on a $515,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner pending further court action.
