LONG BEACH (GG) — On Thursday morning, January 16, 2025, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daphne Zeringue of Long Beach, Miss. for one count of 1st Degree Murder.
Thursday morning, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Daugherty Road in Long Beach on a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, the county deputies located a male inside the residence deceased from multiple stab wounds.
Harrison County Investigators determined through their investigation on scene that Zeringue was responsible for the Murder. Zeringue turned herself in shortly after the incident at the Long Beach Police Department.
Zeringue was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility and charged with 1st Degree Murder. The suspect is being held in lieu of a $1,000,000.00 dollar bond set by Justice Court Judge Theressia Lyons.
