PASS CHRISTIAN (GG) — DeLisle Elementary School held an exciting Spelling Bee competition for students in grades 3 through 5 this week.
Each homeroom class in these grades held their own classroom Spelling Bee, and the top two winners of the class Spelling Bee participated in the school bee.
The event brought together young spellers from these grade levels to showcase their impressive vocabulary skills, determination, and love for words. The competition was open to family members who cheered on the participants.
The top 3 spellers from the Spelling Bee advance to the county Spelling Bee on January 16, 2025 at North Woolmarket Elementary School. It is the 100th anniversary of the Scripts Spelling Bee this year.
