The Gazebo Gazette

The Gazebo Gazette, an independent Harrison County newspaper, would like to thank all former and active members of the armed services or first responders for their service.  From the unanimous adoption of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776, the United States of America has always been the land of the free and home of the brave.  Only because of those that have served to defend our nation, has America been able to stand on the foundation of ideas.

Through the adoption of Veterans Day on November 11, 1919 by President Woodrow Wilson, the “Armistice Day” is dedicated to honoring all members of service and to say thanks for protecting our freedom.  Once again, the Mississippi weekly newspaper says thank you to all veterans for your service and dedication to defending our life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
