This past week, the DeLisle Elementary School (DES) first graders embarked on an exciting field trip to the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS). The day was filled with exploration, learning, and unforgettable experiences that brought the wonders of marine life closer to our young students.
One of the highlights of the trip was the live dolphin show. Students watched in awe as trainers showcased the dolphins’ impressive skills.
As the day came to a close, the first graders left IMMS with smiles on their faces and lots of memories. The field trip not only enhanced their understanding of marine biology but also sparked a curiosity about the natural world.
This experience will surely inspire the next generation of ocean advocates and conservationists. The DeLisle Elementary School is a part of the Pass Christian School District.
