Thursday morning, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested Katrina Lynn Kreeger at her country residence in Pass Christian on felony charges of shooting into an occupied dwelling. According to Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson, the incident occurred at the residence north of Interstate 10 adjacent to Kreeger’s property on November 15, 2019.
Witnesses expressed a belief to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Deputies that Kreeger shot into a dwelling. Sheriff Peterson stated the residence was occupied at the time.
Further investigation by the Sheriff’s office determined that Kreeger was responsible for shooting into the dwelling whereas the investigators obtained a warrant for her arrest. Kreeger was taken into custody at her resident on the warrant and several guns were seized from her residence during the investigation.
No clear motive was established as to why the incident occurred. Kreeger was incarcerated additional times before on felony drug charges and several misdemeanors.
Kreeger is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center in lieu of a $100,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray pending her initial appearance.
