The numbers don’t lie in football.  2019 was a great year for Pass Christian and specifically the Pirates Senior Quarterback Dustin “Gunslinger” Allison.  Helping the Pirates finish 8-4 and winning their first playoff game in team history, Allison won the Region 8-4A Player of the Year while teammate Pass Christian Senior Linebacker Reese Gorman being named the Defensive Player of the Year for the district.

Allison finished the season with 3,732 yards of total offense and 44 touchdowns, either passing for 35 or rushing in 9 leading the district and one of the top in the state of Mississippi after twelve games.  Gorman accounted for 127 tackles, 7 tackles for losses, 1 sack, 2 interception and 2 fumble recoveries on defense.

St. Stanislaus Senior Receiver Dallas Payne was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year, posting 1259 total yards and scoring 18 touchdowns.  As a dual threat on offense, Payne caught 85 receptions for 1231 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for another.  The Rockachaws (6-5) lost on the road in the first round of the MHSAA 4A Playoffs to Poplarville.

Pass Christian dominated the All Region 8-4A team with ten players; including Allison, Gorman, Receiver Kameron White, Offensive Lineman Kenny Nguyen, Defensive End Montrel Alexander, Defensive Lineman Bryson Adams, Linebacker Gordon Ward, Defensive Back Xavian Page, Athlete Andrew Moffett, and Kicker Davon Klein.
