Pass Christian Main Street’s fourth fabulous Farm to Table Dinner was set in the middle of Davis Avenue on Sunday, October 28th and a decent size crowd to eat, take photos and overlook the ambience showed up.
Local chefs worked on the menu, featuring local ingredients and was another delicious even, which included a plethora of wine.
“We were very pleased with this year’s Farm to Table fundraiser for Pass Christian Main Street,” said Pass Christian Main Street event organizer Anita Giani. “Davis Avenue looked very festive with the long table and lights down the middle of the street, and the food was excellent!”
Pass Christian Main Street is a community effort to revitalize historic Downtown Pass Christian, using the 4-point MS Main Street program approach of organization, promotion, design and economic restructuring.
Along with the great food, local musician Dave Jones provided classic jazz in the background throughout the evening. Jones provides unique renditions of classic jazz with the saxophone.
“Our meal included an appetizer by Corry Hudson of Hook Gulf Coast Cuisine; soup and salad by private chef Kimberly Renee Hanks; and entree and dessert by Lauren Jaffrion of Field’s Steak and Oyster Bar complemented by a sorbet presented by Emma Rabalais of Cat Island Coffee House/The Commons,” said Giani to finalize the event.
