The Coast Episcopal School is excited to announce the 2019 winners of Children in the Arts Contest and Workshop. The Children in the Arts Contest is open to fourth through sixth graders enrolled in public, private, and parochial schools on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The schools that participated selected first, second, and third place winners from their students and that artwork was submitted to the contest.

This year over 70 students from 10 schools participated. Sarah Qarqish and Morgan Welch of the HannaBerry Workshop judged the artwork and selected overall first, second and third place winners who each receive da $100 cash prize. This outstanding work of children’s art was displayed at Toast to the Coast on October 18th and in the gallery of the Gail Keenan Art Center. All participating students were invited to attend an art workshop and a reception in their honor on November 2nd.
