Wednesday morning, the Long Beach Police Department arrested Gulfport resident DeShawn Brown on the 200 block of McCaughan Avenue for multiple counts, including auto burglary and three parole warrants.  The capture came as a result of the investigation where Brown allegedly entered into another person’s vehicle and took several items.

The suspect has been incarcerated seven other times since 2011 and the parole violations were for possession of firearms after a felony conviction plus delivery of a controlled substance.  These infractions came after a January arrest by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.

Brown was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center following Wednesday’s arrest and is being held on a $50,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner pending further legal action.
