Just after 5pm, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident north of the Interstate 10-DeLisle exit line on Kiln DeLisle Road at the new entrance to the Chemours DeLisle plant for storage.
According to officials a large box truck attached to the cab of a truck came off after turning toward the interstate. Nothing fell out of the box, but this blocked the heavily traveled road.
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson confirmed there was no issue with the accident. Traffic will be delayed until the box is moved.
