Two felony arrests were made on Sunday of suspects Yesenia Margarita Pena Tejada Theodorou and Rafael Antonio Blanco Trujillo from Miami, Florida on Interstate 10 near the 30 mile marker in a Harrison County traffic check. The suspects were stopped by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department for careless driving infraction.
According to Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson, Blanco Trujillo; the drivers of the white Ford Explorer, admitted to being in possession of 74 altered credit cards and 3 credit card scanners used to alter credit card information.
Both suspects were booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility and each were charged with one felony count of counterfeit instruments. Trujillo and Theodorou are being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner pending their initial appearance.
