Long Beach served as ground zero last Saturday for the second annual Jeepin’ The Coast events.  The official Jeepin’ The Coast kicked off on May 30th in downtown Bay St. Louis.

Saturday began with a beach crawl with several hundred Jeeps partaking in the morning.  Following the morning crowd, the events turned to the Harper McCaughan Town Green, as a vendor village hosted Jeep merchants and carnival food.

Downtown Long Beach served as host to well over 1,000 Jeeps and enthusiasts enjoying music throughout the day.

Finally, a Mardi Gras inspired-all Jeep parade occurred in the early evening.  Children of all ages relished in the tossing of carnival beads, stuffed animals and a variety of decorated Jeeps.

The Coast concluded this event Sunday, as the Jeeps departed Long Beach Harbor for a cruise along Highway 90 for closing day.
