Tuesday, April 16, the Long Beach Police Department arrested 29 year old Jimmy L. Harsson, of Gulfport and charged him with one count of Burglary of a Dwelling, one count of Felony taking of a Motor Vehicle and one count of Possession of Controlled Substance.

The arrest was the result of the investigation of an incident where officers responded to the call of a stolen vehicle. The investigation revealed that a burglary of the residence had occurred along with the theft of a vehicle.

This vehicle was located in Harrison County and was completely engulfed in flames.  Harsson was located and found to have illegal narcotics in possession.

Harsson was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and incarcerated on a $100,000 total bond set by Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner pending further court action.
