West Harrison County residents David Gage Necaise and Brittany Lauren Paine were arrested Thursday, February 21 for three felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, Methamphetamine, Cocaine and MDMA (Ecstasy) as well as allegations of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Paine was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit; Methamphetamine and Oxycodone.
According to Harrison County Sergeant Rob Drace, Investigators executed a search warrant utilizing the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team at the residence of Necaise and Paine on Edwin Ladner Road in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Inside the residence, the homeowner, David Necaise and a female acquaintance, Brittany Paine, were detained.
A subsequent search of the residence yielded approximately two ounces of methamphetamine, one ounce of cocaine, forty-six dosage units of MDMA (Ecstasy) and several dosage units of Oxycodone. The narcotics wer found separated into multiple units with paraphernalia consistent with distribution. Additionally, Investigators recovered two shotguns, two assault rifles and three pistols all illegally possessed by Necaise due to a previous felony conviction.
David Gage Necaise and Brittany Paine were booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility and charged with the aforementioned charges. Necaise was held in lieu of a $80,000.00 bond and Paine was held in lieu of a $30,000.00 bond both set by Harrison County Judge Brandon Ladner. However, Necaise and Paine are being detained and not eligible for bond due to violations of their post release supervision through the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
