18-year old Gulfport resident Dalize Dekel Nutall was arrested Friday night, December 28 for alleged felony charges, according Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson.

At approximately 7pm Wednesday, December 27, Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Family Market located 17413 Landon Rd. Gulfport, MS, in reference to an armed robbery.  The store owner expressed that a black male entered the store, produced a black handgun and demanded money.

Once the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money, he fled by foot.  After the owner recognized the suspect as a regular customer at the store the next day and declared Nutall was involved in a previously reported misdemeanor crime at that location in the police report.

With checking the reports regarding the misdemeanor crime, Nutall was developed as the robbery suspect. Then, deputies and Investigators traveled to Nutall’s residence in Gulfport, MS and made contact with Nutall.

During a search warrant of Nutall’s residence Investigators recovered the money that was taken during the armed robbery and a black BB gun which was displayed in the robbery. Nutall was placed under arrest for the armed robbery and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center

Dalize Dekel Nutall was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility and charged with Armed Robbery.  Nutall is being held in lieu of a $100,000.00 dollar bond set by Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray.
