As informed by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, the town of Pass Christian was founded in 1839. Not long after this, was the beginning of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Pass Christian.

A few movements of location across the town throughout the history made a few things uneasy, but the current address at 322 Clark Avenue across from the Randolph Center has become a permanent place.

As the 48th Pastor to the Church, Reverend Ella Dedeaux offered introduction to the passionate speaker, Reverend Bobby mcGill of Holmes Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. McGill honored St. Paul’s anniversary for “building a solid foundation in Jesus Christ.” Expressing that the “only way you can move up is by having a solid foundation through God’s words” in a blazing sermon.

The choir was led by musician Jamion Burney along several songs from the choir and the celebration met after with fellowship for an early dinner.
