Harrison County Sheriff Department arrested 20 year old Gulfport resident Lamarcus Swington on two felony counts of Armed Robbery Tuesday, June 12. Deputies responded to calls from witnesses on scene with a report of armed robbery in two Long Beach gas stations on County Farm Road in Long Beach.
According to Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson, investigators located evidence on scene that identified Swinton as one of the suspects responsible for both armed robberies. Then, the investigators obtained a warrant on Swinton and served the warrant to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Swinton was already incarcerated on the same charges from Biloxi and Gulfport Police Departments.

Swington was booked in the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and charge with two counts of armed robbery while being held in lieu of a $300,000 bond set by Harrison County Judge Diane Ladner. Gulfport and Biloxi have assisted in the investigation.
