Catfish was brewing, along with red beans, rice, potato salad and poundcake, as the Mexican Gulf Lodge #64 Masons cooked for the Pass Christian community Sunday morning at The Randolph Center.
“Its a double edged sword, in that we want the community to recognize that we have a Mexican Gulf Lodge in Pass Christian and we’re stepping up our progress and outreach of this area,” said Member John Cook. “The second edge of the sword is that we want to bring everybody together, the way we were brought up in Pass Christian where there is all kinds of love on both sides of the tracks.”
According to Cook, the organization does not care about your economics or partisanship. It’s all about the community and reaching out to people.
Tons of people flocked into the center after church hours, including the local law enforcement, television media, and residents.
